Hi.. you can build one of these if you have around 30 minutes or so.. I did and it works great for my macro photography and jewelry photos... it is built out of PVC pipe and a bed sheet.. total cost was around $10. Compared to the $95 + the get for these macro studios.. it is really cheap and works well.. Oh and I use ordinary lamps with 6200K floro lamps from Home Depot. The lamps you get with most of these kits are really junky and get very very hot...
Trust me..save the $$ and build one.. check out this link..
