These look wonderful! I am going to give it a try. The only problem I see is finding the blocks. I did something like this last year and couldn't find blocks anywhere! I ended up going to Menard's and getting a 4 X 8 and having my BIL cut that into blocks for me. Which actually cost me a lot less in the long run...seeing as I made 3 sets.
