I think the reason why you are not finding very many (or any in my case!) is that Iphoto is really just a browser and simple editor... its not really a very good paint/photo program for making layouts. You can create things.. but not as free formed as you can in photoshop. Has your friend considered buying iremember? seems to be the Hallmark for the mac.. I'm sure it too is limited but will be much better than iphoto. Of course... photoshop is available for the mac..

For slim money.. you can also have her try: Pixel.. it is one of the best shareware style (think early PSP!!) photoshop replacements... It is very very nice for $38. Good Luck! http://www.kanzelsberger.com/img/osx.png
