OK I am probably not going to make any sense at ALL as I am not a tutorial person lol
in the brush preset manager you can hold down the 'shift' key and select the brushes you want to delete OR save set OR Rename

or alt A to select them all then select delete OR save set OR Rename

so if I had a whole mess of brushes and wanted to separate them without deleting them (in the brush preset manager) I would highlight just the grunge ones and then 'save set' as grunge
it will save only the grunge brushes that are highlighted not the others.
so I am sure I have totally confused you so found a site that has pictures, check out the 'Save and Load Brush set' section
