Make a SB supplies database using.........

Microsoft Works Database. I downloaded "Karen's Directory Printer" as pointed out by Dani B. in the post, "How can I print a list of file names" and got to thinking I could use that list to make a database that I could add to every time I purchased or download a new kit. Here is a link to a picture of the first page of my database:

In my database I used the following fields:

Kit Name
Designer Name
Special Notes
Free From
Purchase
Location (what folder the file is in, etc.)

you can add any fields you like. The good thing about the database is that you can pull up anything you want in a report. For instance, I can pull up a report by "Designer Name", etc. I am also organizing my files in ACDSee and between the two I should easily be able to find my supplies without much effort!

By the way, Dani thanks for the link and I hope you are feeling better. When you look at the first page of my database, I guess you can see who is my favorite designer!!!
