There are also dingbat fonts that are decorative and ornamental. I have some that are borders and also corners. These might work. Also preset shapes might work as a template. Make the shape. Select it and then delete from the layer with the corner. Would also need to do that with the fonts. Have you seen Tracy Ann Robinson's new stuff. It has cutouts on frames- really cool looking.
