To create curved pics it takes a bit of fiddling but its possible. Dip has the dsitort feature instead of Warp (Effects> Distort) Not as much control but still possible to work with.
Choose a photo, duplicate it - fill the bottom photo with solid black (Effects> Fill with color or texture> black
Choose the top photo and Effects> Distort - choose the FishEye and reduce the slide to the left to about -15 (thats minus 15) or what ever suits. Click Ok to apply.
Select the black shape and choose TouchUp> Blue> Gaussian Blur. Increase the slider until you get the effect of the corners lifting up. Apply.
Now you can fiddle a bit (move the photo up a little or resize eth shadow slightly to get the look that you are happy with. You can also use your dodge and burn brush.
