Great news!! I hope some of my suggestions helped. Now I need to take my own advice and upgrade my RAM. Welcome to the world of digital scrapping. Again, let us see some of your results. Post here when you upload one of your pages so we will be sure to see it.

I am sure since my computer is so out of date, it could probably run much faster but at least the program works now and I have done my first couple of layouts so I am on my way to digital scrapbooking....

FYI...I did use the crucial.com site to figure out what kind of RAM I needed (I had no idea that there were different kinds...) and then I found step-by-step instructions on the Gateway Web Site (with pics) on how to install the memory in my laptop. Installation was as easy as putting batteries in my kids toys. I can't believe the Geek Squad at Best Buy was going to charge me $40 to install the memory and I was going to pay it....

I have learned so much on this board already and I am sure to learn much more but I do want to thank everyone for their great replies. It has helped me tremendously....
