My dad has the 5D and the 30D, and they are both AWESOME cameras!! The 5D has a full size sensor, so your lenses will be true to size and you can get a wider angle. If I hadn't bought my slr first (a Nikon D70), I would have gone with one like his. But I've already invested in some good lenses and a flash, so I'll stick with what I got. His photos are so crisp and clear. They just can't be beat. Of course, the price is up there but if you really love to use your camera and you want to make a good investment, you won't be disappointed!
