I think, if you are getting good pics w/ what you have, stick w/ it. It won't last forever and when it gives out, then make the choice to get a new camera (or just a newer version of what you have now).

I know there are some FAB point and shoots on the market and just because some like the ability to change lenses doesn't mean it is for everyone. For me, the only factor w/ a point and shoot that is critical is lag time. The shutter time. And it sounds like your camera doesnt' have an issue w/ that.

My dh enjoys taking video w/ his and I love being able to use his view screen. Eh, there are pros and cons to most cameras.
