Hi there
I too am a new designer. I just got accepted as a designer at another store and only this week did my kits hit the store. The one thing I keep in mind is to just do what I like and try to be unique. You really want to stand out. I myself dont have much more advice for you, because like I said I am new as well and just having fun with it and that is all that matters. Best of luck to you.
