The format your scanner saves in depends on what file format your scnner is set at to do
So launch your scanner software and check the settings - without knowing what scanner you have I cant be more specific, but every scanner will let you choose the output file type
You should probbaly choose tiff to scan at and at 600PPi - save the file to your harddrive then open in DIP
