Sorry Sara, I should clarify...

Depending on the sample, you could probably use it as an all-over, repeating pattern on say a 12"x12" paper at 300dpi, but the pattern (depending on the original size available as the downloadable sample) might end up smaller.

I suggest experimenting...save your sample, open it up in your software, create two blank canvases, one 12"x12" at 72dpi and another one 12"x12" at 300 dpi. Fill each of your canvases with the downloaded sample clip art and you'll see what I mean about the size variation.

The best thing to do is to experiment. There are some samples that work better than others. Have fun!
