I'm posting to reinforce Pesto's comment about having software that takes multiple scanned photos and crops, straightens, and separates them into individual images being a HUGE timesaver. I saved myself a tremendous amount of the time from previous efforts using this feature (with Photoshop CS at the time). If you don't already own Photoshop CS (or CS 2), it is a bit steep of a price if you just need this one feature, though. Fortunately, Photoshop Elements 4 also has this feature and is much less expensive.
