Secondly~ I would strongly encourage you to upgrade from 7.
It's going to be hard
for you to find the tutorials and help you need as most digital scrapbookers are using at least 8 and most are using 9 or X.
I can give you links to some tutorials and you may be able to use them to help but they are mostly written for higher versions of PSP.
Here is one on how to thread a fiber not exactly what you are looking for but may help a little.

When you get to that site scroll down until you find the Jasc Paint Shop Pro section and there is one on threading a string through a tag and using a paper clip.
