Hi Mims!

There are two ways you can do this in PSP X. Open your elements page as a new image. Select the magic wand, with Match Mode set to All Opaque and continuous. Click on the element you want. You should get the marching ants. Now you can just copy and paste into your layout.

The other method is the rectangular selection tool. Simply drag out a selection box aroudn your element of choice and then copy and paste into your layout.
