This is a great article. I got desperate and used needlenose pliers to get a good hold of small filter adapter and voila it loosened. It scratched it slightly cosmetically on the outside but still usable. I guess I'll have to live with it. I will go buy the filter wrenches now that I know that they exist in case it ever happens again. Thanks for your help...I love y'all...Needlemom
