My name is Michelle . . .until I was in 3rd grade I went by Chellee (I have no idea why my parents called me that) Nobody could spell it . .all my birthday cards from people were WRONG hehe. Finally when my mom divorced and then remarried I started going by Michelle. . .I have aunts that still (after 30 years) call me Chellee. I hate it.

Our girls pretty much get called by their proper names . . .my mom tried to shorten one of them from Stacia to Sta. . but she got corrected pretty fast. Our son will be more difficult being Joshua. . .people want to call him Josh. My family knows they better not call him that hehe . . .I have one friend that calls him Josh, but I just make sure when I talk to him in front of her I use his proper name. We've decided that as he gets older if he wants to go by Josh with his friends he can, but to us he'll be Joshua.
