LOL, I hear ya! I have 3 kids, 5 and under, and I do at least 3 loads every day (except for Sunday). I have a never-ending pile of towels downstairs. I don't even want to think about how long some of them have been dow there. I never seem to be able to get to them all!

As for the clothes, my youngest one just potty trained, so I seem to wash more of his clothes than anyone's! Lucky for me, 99% of DH's clothes get dry cleaned, so I rarely have his clothes to wash, and I don't have more than about 4 or 5 shirts and 1 pair of pants. So, all of my laundry is for my kids! Go figure!

Which reminds me...time to go switch clothes over!
