And No Your Not Stupid...Hahaha! Tagging Is Basically As I See it:
Very Similar to Scrapping but on a smaller scale...
It's putting together Graphics like [jpg's,tubes,png's,gradients,brushes,Etc...]
In Layers to make a Signature tag with a name on it....Usually used in ones Emails...
Or on Site Pages....Etc... Just a Smaller Version of Scrapping...
If I Ever figure out how to put a pic in the replies or posts...lol I could show you...lol
