is frips a japanese word? in ps, i just select the background with the magic wand tool and hit delete. might need to clean up shadows and such, which i do the the polygonal l***o tool so you can click every so often and don't need a steady hand. i'll email this link to shelleyrae though to see if she can help. she's been under the pregnancy weather lately, so she might miss it.
