What action were you trying to run? Try the same proceedures with the Dave's Midnight Sepia action (google it and you'll find it) and see if you get the same error message. I KNOW that that one works.

Yes sometimes if there are multiple steps, etc to an action (which allows PS people to have more control over the final image) then it won't work in PSE. I have found a few that have worked but a lot that haven't.

We really need to compile a list of actions that do work for PSE and keep it as a sticky, or maybe that was already done and I missed it! And buy the way the Atomic cupcake effects (actions that work in PSE) are GREAT! They cost $ but are totally worth it! I have the torn edge one, the chipboard letters one, and the inked edges one so far. I LOVE them! And the installation is even easier than installing an action because they were written from the PSE point of view!
