I use PSE 4 and this is how I do it, ( I am also new at this, but I have been reading like a crazy woman to understand what is going on- just got three books in the mail - I am so happy to share when someone else needs help

**click the text box, type in your text. Above your palette bin on the right hand side you will see two T's between "color" and the "circle with a line through it". click the left the T (with the curve underneath it) change the style to whatever you would like to do.
