I put mine in a folder on the desktop named ~ fonts. Then when I want to use one I can just open up the font and minimize it open my program and it will be there. Also there is a free program called The font thing but I never really learned how to use it. I believe it does basically the same thing but it actaully previews your fonts. There was a thread about it somewhere here on the forum. I'll go see if I can find it and post the link for you.
