im not sure why its doing that for you...
i just uploaded and ordered my 5x7 cards today too and they werent cropped at all...
my original layout is at 300dpi and 5x7 exactly....

ps...where in N.Tx do you live? im from dallas, and right before i got married i was living in addison!
