Hi- I have been playing w/ photoimpact 10 and am having an unbelievably tough time. I can import a background "paper" then I import a picture- first, I can't figure out how to tell it to switch to a new layer (or does it automatically do it for every thing you import?). When it does import a pic to a second layer, and I go to crop the picture, it crops the background paper too. How do I work with 1 layer and how do I start new layers. I have actually READ the manual regarding layers and have not found an answer. I keep thinking once I figure this out it will be downhill.... I guess I can hope! Thanks in advance...
