YIKES!! Please don't misunderstand me. I have NO reason to suspect anyone of anything.

My question was one of a very general nature. I guess what I should have asked is what can be done to provide designers with a way of validating sales records. Even very honest people can make honest mistakes. I actually do have a high regard for the members of this wonderful community, but doing business requires a bit of a different perspective.

It would be nice for the designers to have a way to get into the shopping cart system and view their sales at any time, not just for security purposes but also for marketing reasons. Of course, I don't know how practical this is from the site owners' perspective.

As for having my own site. That sounds good, but is not a very practical option for me right now.

I think asking for some references might be the best option at this point. And perhaps asking purchasers to register the product. That would at least give me a rough estimate at minimum.
