Not much you can do at this point. Most folders will have the kit name and designer name, but I not all the individual files do. I prefer to keep my files in kits and use an organizing program like PS Album or Picasa to "tag" my elements in categories such as "backgrounds" and so on. This allows me to search for the elements I want, but keeps things easy to credit because the individual files are still with other files in the kit, including the terms of use for that kit (which often has good info if you should have questions about a kit).
