I have spent a total of 4 hours on the phone with Epson Tech Support, and I still not have been able to resolve my issue (my experience with dealing with the 1st tier of support would be hilarious were it not so completely frustrating).
It has now come to the support people suggesting that I attach the printer to another computer to see if that works

If that doesn't work, they are going to try shipping me another printer.
Someone somewhere in the world of Epson made this work, all of their literature says that this printer can print 12x12 borderless, but darned if they explained it to anyone else!
