I have an hp 7660 which i would recommend in a heart beat though if i had had the money i would have gone for the model up which is the 7960. I work at 8x8 so i can use the square format and print at home . 8x8 albums are pretty easy to get.
Ihave only ever seen one book for DIP and it was pretty much exactly teh same as teh help files. The collection of DIP tutorials on thsi site is teh largest collection on teh web. Start with teh beginners tut for DIP 10 here
