I do it a little differently... I guess like with most things theres more than one way. I go up to the top to "window" then down to images and over to "cascade images" then all of the pictures that are in the photo bin appear in the editing area. Then you click the move tool and drag them into whichever one you want to be the biggest. Hope you get it all figured our before you pull your hair out! I have times like that since starting PSE3 also and end up going back to Picture It!!! Good luck!
