it should be a 'piece of cake' if you are using Photoshop.

scan the stamped image, preferably a dark color on white.

select the "dark" design using the magic wand
select "inverse"
hit "clear" under EDIT

now, under EDIT, hit "DEFINE BRUSH PRESET" and give it a name.
