PROGRAM BASIC: Creating Your First Layout PART TWO **PSE**

1. Create a new layout. See the tutorial for creating a new layout in Photoshop.
2. Go to File> Open and navigate to the File where you
have your photos or elements saved. Either click on the photo or element you
want to open and click the “ open ” tab or double click quickly
on the element or photo. Now you should have your blank layout and the photo
or element open in Photoshop.

3. Ensure the move tool in your floating toolbar is selected,
and drag the photo onto the blank layout with your mouse.


4. Your layout should look like this. You can move your photo or element by
clicking and holding down the left mouse button while moving the mouse. Resize
your photo or element by holding down the shift key and dragging the corners
of the photo or element by clicking and holding down the left mouse button
and moving the mouse. Notice that holding down the shift key ensures the photo
or element is sized proportionately.
