Some designers are now providing their templates as separate png files. This tutorial
shows you how to quickly reassemble them.

Open a new canvas and resize it to suit the size of the templates.
Open all the separate files of the template.
On the Files Stack, scroll up to the top and click on the blank canvas to make it the active layer again.

On the Files Palette, left click on the first layer of the template and drag it onto the canvas.
Centre this layer by going to Format/Centre object on canvas

Drag the next layer from the Files Palette onto the canvas and centre as before.
Continue until all the layers are in place.

You will now fill each layer with a paper.
Click on the first layer in the Stack to activate it.

Go to Effects/Fill with colour or texture/Photo
If the papers you want to use are already opened: Double click on the one you want to use.
Resize if necessary using the resizing handles.
Click Done when finished.

If the papers you want to use aren’t already opened: Select Open a Picture. Browse to select the paper you want to use.
Continue as above until each layer has been filled.
Add title, journaling and any extra elements you wish to use.
Add shadows if applicable.

“Save as”……….PNG+ so you can make changes later if required.
Flatten all layers (Edit/Flatten all objects) then “Save as”……….JPG for printing purposes.
