1. Make a new file. I like to have extra space so, I made a 4 x 6 inch file. I rotated the canvas so, that it is shown in landscape mode. You do this by Image > Rotate Canvas > 90 CW.
2. Pick the color you would like your tag and have it in the “foreground.”
3. Pick the rounded rectangle tool. The roundness of the edges of your rectangle is chosen in the radius box. I chose a 10 px radius.
4. Drag the rounded rectangle onto your file.
5. Change to the polygon tool. You can choose the number of sides for a polygon in the sides box. I chose 6 for the purposes of this tutorial.
6. Now drag the polygon onto your page so that it lines up with the rounded rectangle.

7. You can transform the shapes to fit. I had to scale down the polygon to 99% to make a more perfect fit.
8. Now, merge the two layers to make the tag shape come together. Layer > Merge Visible.
9. Now you can use your ellipse marquee tool to delete a hole for the tag. Just drag the ellipse marquee tool over an area you would like to make a hole. Once it is positioned, release the mouse. Now, hit the delete key on your keyboard. You should have this.

10. You are finished with your tag. Now you can add all kinds of things to this tag. Possibilities are endless. Enjoy!
