PROGRAM BASIC: Remove Spots and Blemishes

Are there spots or blemishes on your old heritage photos?  Smaller spots and blemishes can easily be removed using the Spots and Blemishes Tool.

Open your photo.  Make a duplicate to work on (Ctrl + d) and close the original.

As you can see, the photo below has a lot of white specs on it.

Go to Touch Up/Remove Spots or Blemishes

Zoom in on your photo.

Your cursor changes into a crosshair.

Place the crosshair over a spot or blemish and left click to remove.

As you can see, this photo is very old and would be very time consuming to remove

every single blemish.  However, removing the most obvious ones will greatly improve it.
