PROGRAM BASIC: Printing an Index Sheet

1.FILES FROM YOUR COMPUTER OR ALREADY OPEN IN DIP

   

Go to File/Print Index Sheet

For files already opened in DIP select “In the Files palette”

For files elsewhere on your computer select “On my computer”

Selecting “On my computer” will open the file browser. 

Holding down the Ctrl key, select the images you want to include

In your Index Sheet.  Click OK when done.

Opt to print filenames if required.

Change your printer settings if necessary.

Select the number of copies you need.

You can also choose to save the Index Sheet as a file.

Wait while your Index Sheet is processed.

Print.

You will now be taken back to the workspace.

If you chose to save your Index Sheet you will see it in the workspace.

Save.

***TIP:  Before Printing:  If you would like to add a title to your Index Sheet

make sure you have  “Keep this file opened….” selected then click on CANCEL.

You will be taken back to the workspace and your Index Sheet.

Add your text.

Print.  Save if required.

 

2. FROM THE LIBRARY

 

Open the Library.

Click on the folder your images are in.

Hold down the Ctrl key and select the images you need or

to select all go to Edit/Select all.

Go to File/Print Index Sheet.

Follow the prompts as above.
