This tutorial will show how to create a very simple (and quick!) monotone tinted picture in PSE.

  1. Open the picture to be tinted in PSE.
  2. Set your foreground color to the desired tint color. In this example I set it to R: 166 G: 124 B: 82.
  3. Go to Enhance> Adjust Color> Adjust Hue/Saturation or use the keyboard shortcut CTRL+U.
  4. In the Hue/Saturation window, click Colorize.
Hint: if the resulting tint color is not quite what you wanted, adjust the Hue, Saturation, and Lightness sliders to get a result you like.
