- On the Options toolbar, set the radius to 20 pixels.
- Draw a smaller rectangle inside the first rectangle. In this example the smaller rectangle is 1.25 inches wide and 1.875 inches tall.
Hint- to better distinguish the two rectangles, change the color of one of them.

- Adjust the size and orientation of the patterned paper, so that the portion under the rectangles is what will become the slide mount.

- While holding down the CTRL key click on the large rectangle layer in the layer palette.
- While holding down the CTRL key and the ALT key and click on the small rectangle layer in the layer palette. You have just selected the shape of the slide mount.

- Make sure that the patterned paper is the active layer and copy (CTRL+C) and paste (CRTL+V). Turn off all but the newest layer and the basic slide mount shape is visible.

- In the Styles and Effects Palette, select Layer Styles and Bevels.

- Click on the Simple Inner style. To adjust the bevel size, click on the f next to the slide mount in the Layer Palette.
