Tired of having to change the canvas size every time you use DIS?
Follow the easy steps below to create and save your own custom page sizes.
Right Click on the Start Button and select “explore”

Scroll down and click on the + sign next to Program Files

Scroll down and click on the + sign next to Microsoft Digital Image
Left click on the folder “1033”

Before going any further you should save a copy of the original file to a new location on your computer so
It can be replaced at a later time if necessary.
In the right hand pane locate and double click the file named “page size”

A Notepad file will open.

In the first available “vacant” line – in this case it is line 15 - left click to the right of the “/n” part and press the backspace key until you are only left with the first “
Type in the size or name of the custom page you are going to make.
You can use “12 x 12 in\ as I did or give it a name like Scrap or Layout.
Eg: “12 x 12 in\n0\n12\n12\nin” or “Layout\n0\n12\n12\nin”
Important: You must include the Quotes.
Substitute the 12’s with whatever size you require.
Eg: an 8x8 page would be: “8 x 8 in\n0\n8\n8\nin” The blue highlighted part is up to you but the rest
must be precisely the same.
When you have finished adding your custom sizes you need to save the file.
Go to File/Save.

Close out of Windows Explorer.
Open DIS.
Go to File/New.
Click on the dropdown box and you will see your new page sizes listed.
