From YourSITE.com *Technique Filling your text with paper is quick and easy with Photoshop’s clipping mask tool.  Open and drag the paper of your choice above the text layer.  Select CTRL+ALT+G on your keyboard (or right click on the paper layer and choose Create Clipping Mask)   You can move the paper to show a specific part of the paper design as required. Merge the text and paper layers, the text will no longer be editable and the layer can be manipulated as with any other image file.   You can create multiple text layers and fill with different papers using the clipping mask tool for each. However you can also fill specific sections of text in a single layer. Select the clipping mask layer and use the marquee or polygonal tool to create a selection around the part of the text you want to fill. Go to Select >Inverse and then Delete.  Add the next paper, create a clipping mask and again select the area you want to keep, inverse the selection and delete.
