From YourSITE.com *Program Basic Did your perfect photo turn out not-so-perfect because your subject looks like she has “devil eyes?” This tutorial will show you how to use the Red Eye Tool to reduce the red-eye effect in photos that occur when the flash is too close to the lens. The Red Eye Tool is best used on photos where the subject is looking straight into the camera (rather than to the side.) For this tutorial, I’ll be using Jocilyn Pope’s (aka Sunchasers) photo titled “Summers Hot” from Stock.Xchng.  2. Activate the Red Eye Tool.  If necessary, zoom in on your photo so that you can see the eyes easily. 3. Click once in the size field  and enter a number. The size should correspond with the part of the eye that is red. (If you have a scroll wheel on your mouse, you can hover over the iris and scroll the size of the Red Eye Tool up or down.) The center of the Red Eye Too that contains the “crosshairs” should be centered over the white reflection on the eye (often called the “catch light.”) 4. Once the Red Eye Tool has been lined up with the red part of the eye, click once. The eye should now have a black pupil. Repeat steps for the second eye and you’re done!
