Want to get that stamped and chalked
look? PhotoImpact has some features that make this an easy task to do.
You can start with a simple line clip
art that you have, or draw your own using the line tools.
Open a new blank canvas in
PhotoImpact.
Click the line tool and select the
Shape of Spline
Start to draw your lines for the
stamp look. Click where you want to start a curve.
When done with a line, double click
to end that line
When done drawing your line art,
click on the chalk button.
The tool bar will change to have
options for your chalk painting. You can change the shape of your brush, the
color, There are even Presets you can use. In order to paint, you will need to
make sure the Mode button is selected.
Chalking is very similar to your
childhood days of coloring with crayons. The more you brush on the page, the
more color you will see. Click and drag the color on the areas you want to be
chalked.
Change the color as you need to for
the different areas of your drawing by clicking the colored square in the tool
bar. When done, save as PNG to use in your layouts.
