TECHNIQUE: Fill Text with an Image

1. File>Open. I opened a picture
of leaves I had in "My Pictures"
2. File>New. I left it at the
default size. You will see both in the tray.
3. Still working on the new canvas, insert some text and
duplicate it.
4. Select the bottom text then:
Effects>fill with colour or texture>picture.
Now double click on the picture in the tray.
Click Done.
5. Now centre each layer on the canvas
6. Select the top layer and change the colour to suit.
Here I chose white.
7. Keeping the top layer selected go to
Effects>transparent fade>even and adjust to suit.
This is 50%
This is 75%
Or you can just have the picture layer on its own.
