PROGRAM BASIC: Isolating an object from an image of multiple objects

1. Open your multiple-item page
(example: alphabets, tags, buttons, etc.) For this example, I will be using my
Metal Ring Tags from the April Showers Kit. (Yellow Flower Print paper is also
mine from the April Showers Kit.) File > Open.
2. From the Tool Bar, choose the
Selection Tool.
3. Using the Selection Tool, click
and drag a box around the object you wish to place on your layout.
4. Click on Copy
;or go to Edit > Copy.
5. Switch to the layout you wish to
place this object into.
6. Add a new raster layer to your
layout. Layers > New Raster Layer > OK
7. Add your copied object into your
layout by going to Edit > Paste > Paste As New Selection.
8. Move your pasted object to the
desired area on your layout.

9. Deselect the object. Selections
> Select None.
