What you need:
- digital kit of choice…I’m using Wild Child from Lindsay Jane
- any physical embellishments you wish to use and adhesives
- cardstock for printing
- envelope for mailing

1. Open a letter size, 300 ppi document in your software of choice. Decide what size you want your card to be and draw a circle of that size (or just a smidge smaller)…I want my card to be 6 inches by 6 inches. This will be the base or template for your card. Go ahead and save your document now.

2. Create your card as you would any other layout.

3. Print out your layout. Cut out around the circle and any desired embellishments…I’m not adding anything to mine..I’m happy with it just as it is.

4. Now to figure the size to make our folded card base. Add a new layer on top of all your elements and draw a square from the top left corner of the circle to the bottom right corner. You want to make sure your square fits entirely within your circle layout as shown below.

5. Now drag your square layer to the top left corner of the document to measure the size of the square…mine is 3 ¾” by 3 ¾”…so the size I want my card base to be is 3 ¾” tall by 7 ½” wide, which will fold in half to be 3 ¾” by 3 ¾” (you can fold it vertically or horizontally, your preference.

6. At this point you can either cut a piece of cardstock to the dimensions figured above, fold in half and hand write a sentiment on the inside…OR you can create a new document that is the size figured above and digitally fill in a sentiment…which is what I’ve done.

7. Print and/or cut the card base, score and fold down middle, then adhere your circle to the front…and you’re finished!
